I have always dreamed of being in front of the camera as a reporter, using my social and personable skills to connect with others and tell their story. As I watched TCU sports from the sidelines and grew relationships with the athletes on and off the field, I wanted to get to know the athlete's hearts...who they were underneath the jersey.
I became the TCU Sports Host and Reporter my senior year and was able to do just that. I connected with athletes in multiple sports and told their stories. Sports is my passion, I have grown up around it and find it is where I am happiest, but above all else I love storytelling.
Storytelling for me comes in many forms. I created a blog where I told my story as a therapeutic measure that in turn helped many other people who were feeling the same way. I often use my Instagram as a platform to share stories that may help, encourage or motivate others.
I believe storytelling is what makes entertainment so unique because everyone's story is different and the way we tell stories is different as well. I love sports, but it's the storytelling that fuels my passion. In my future endeavors I hope to be the person that people can depend on to bring stories to life as a source of entertainment.
